About Audience
Audience is a consulting agency for the music, entertainment, and sports industries. We believe that we’re all in the audience — and that's why it's our name. Founded by The Audience Advocate, we work with everyone across music, entertainment, and sports — advocating for audiences and everyone who makes things for them.
Music, entertainment, and sports are some of the greatest cultural forces we have. But too often, clicks get prioritized over connection, fans are reduced to revenue streams, and people working across music, entertainment, and sports contend with industries that prioritize performance at the expense of people.
Audience exists to bring the focus back. We help clients do more than meet the market — we help them meet the moment, and the people in it. We create work that doesn't just reach, it resonates — and doesn't just entertain, it makes an impact.
Grounded in psychology, Audience collaborates with clients on services across strategy, creative, engagement, and impact. We also offer three packages designed for different goals: The Architect for building something new. The Ambassador for building connection, community, and momentum. And The Advocate for cultural and social impact work across entertainment — in the industry and with the audience.

The Audience Advocate
Audience was founded by strategist and future psychologist Morgan "Marnie" Debnam — known as The Audience Advocate. Marnie has spent nearly a decade working globally across music, entertainment, sports, and social impact at organizations including Luminate and the Ad Council, with clients including Amazon Music, Twitch, YouTube, HYBE, Sony Music, and others.
In addition to leading Audience, she is pursuing her PhD in counseling psychology, specializing in mental health and entertainment — and developing the field of audience psychology.
Music, entertainment, and sports have played a fundamental role in her life — professionally and personally. She's been in the industry and in the audience, living the work that Audience is built from. She started Audience because she believes these industries have the power to do more — not just for the audiences they reach, but for the people working in them. Audience is where that belief becomes the work.
